The error generally means exactly what it says, the Timeslips matter is not linked to an active QuickBooks customer. You can go to accounting - manage name links - customers and look at what is linked. If the QuickBooks customer is in the skipped list then you need to match them to the Timeslips client. If the QuickBooks customer is in the ignore list you need to clear the ignore and then match. If the client and customer show as linked, then look in QuickBooks to see if the customer is inactive. You should always run Accounting - Synchronize names before trying to post, to make sure everything is linked. With regards to slow network responses we need to know more about how the remote users are accessing Timeslips. Are they using terminal server? What is the connectivity profile? How much memory is on the server?
