Newer versions of Timeslips do have calculated fields. Whether they would work "exactly" as you describe and to your satisfaction is difficult to answer here. If it is that important to you, I would advise contacting a Certified Consultant and having them work with you remotely on a copy of the newest version and show you what it can do and see if that would work for you.
