Your database is not contained in one single file, but in many files that together make up the database. For example, my v2015 database has 447 files that make up the entire database. The first file Timeslips looks for is called Main.db. Unfortunately a lot of IT personnel erroneously believe that that is the ONLY file they need. Nope, it is just the first file Timeslips looks for. Timeslips will not create more than one database per folder. Usually everything in the folder makes up the database. I would look for a folder, typically created below the Timeslips installation folder, called DATA01. That is the default name of a new database folder. You may find that you have a DATA01, DATA02, DATA03, etc. As Caren mentioned, you will need to look at the Date Modified on those iterations to see which is the last one you were using. Then point Timeslips to the MAIN.db in that folder to open it up.
