Forum Post: RE: Is there a way to have a one-time charge that will not have interest charged against it on future invoices, although the same client is charged interest on fees and cost?

How do I specify the interest being charged as "interest only"? I believe when creating an invoice in AR Transactions, all future invoices are designated as a fee upon which interest is charged. If I am correct, that there is no way to charge an AR Transaction as interest only, that would be illegal and usurious. If I am wrong, I do not know how to specify the interest as "interest only." Wait, maybe I see the solution you mentioned but am not sure. I see that I can show the "interest" amount, but how do you suggest showing the correct interest on the principal that should have interest more than 30 days "from the prior invoice date"?
