Since newer machines don't seem to like to use a mapped drive vs a UNC path (i.e., I load it via mapped, but then it stores the UNC instead), I've started to just go all UNC, all the time. So, UNC for local installation path/licensing, and then for the Firebird SQL database, it will look for an available/broadcasted database and you choose it that way, so not so much a pathing issue for the database location.
