The initial processing of a Reprint Bills menu command on a Timeslips 2017 workstation with a 500 MB database takes over 5 minutes. The delay is so long that some users have complained that the feature is not working. After the initial delay, clients can be selected and bills reprinted with quick response. It appears that the software is bringing a large amount of indexing data over the network when the command is executed. By contrast, when bills are reprinted through the Billing History option of Billing Assistant, there is very little delay. The main Reprint Bills function should to be recoded to eliminate the very long processing delay.
