You don't mention your Timeslips version but start by double checking your filtering..........maybe just filter for the client to see what you get. In a case like this, Timeslips is telling it like it is UNLESS you have corruption in the bill stage table for that client. In that case, that should be reported on the Data Verification report if you backup first and run that just looking for errors. If that proves to be the case, you will need help from support or from a consultant frequenting this forum. Good Luck!
