Well, I think you are on the right track with the canned Summary Report, although that report has a lot of extra "noise" that can be distracting, but can also usually be suppressed. I'm more concerned that you are getting the no data message. As a broad first step, I'd make a backup and then run a Data Verification (File, Data Verification) and only check the option to Look for Errors. Run it, it may take a while, and make sure that it finds no errors. You might have a bit of corruption in the slips that is causing the message, but could also be something else entirely. So hard to say with just the information so far.
