Well, first off, that is a VERY old version of Timeslips. It is actually a 16-bit program which is why there is no way it will operate in 64-bit. There are two different concepts of users. 1) is the number of people that it will allow you to track time for. In this sense Users = Employees whose time will be billed. 250 sounds right for that value in version 8. 2) is the number of workstations that can access the program at one time. Again, one sounds right on the one machine. When do you get the error? What are you trying to do when you get it? How did you reinstall it? Do you still have the old machine available? Please understand that by using such an old copy of the program and not upgrading you are incurring significant risk to your database. There are fewer and fewer of us who have any experience with it. Sage won't support it, and upgrading it needs special handling at this point, but the data can be converted. Hope this helps.
