Forum Post: RE: Applying discounts to a current bill.

I think you have it turned backwards a bit. A DISCOUNT in Timeslips is the whole 2/10, net 30 idea where if the client pays early, they get to take a discount.  I have never seen anyone use this feature in my 20+ years of consulting.  It is actually a very distinctive thing in the program. You seem to be using the word discount in a much broader way.  More like a credit, or courtesy discount. The BILL ARRANGEMENT - ADJUST TOTAL CHARGES  l I have seen many many users use, and would do exactly as you are describing.  Please read the Help file on how to set it up and give it a try.  It should give you what you want.
