And what content do you have in the Law Firm Matter ID field? Are you getting the error on multiple clients? or only one?

Are you getting any kind of error message when it opens? Or are you just not able to click on anything and get a response.

I input our case name i.e. Smith v. Jones. I have ran the Data Verification and there are no errors. This is a small client and I do not have that many files. Can I create a new database and transfer...

On the workstations, look for a long scroll bar at the very bottom of the screen. Do you see one?

I doubt that a new database will help you. I think we just need to solve this puzzle in your current database.

No scroll bar. When I click on slips menu option it does give me the one moment please but nothing happens. The program does not exit neither when clicking file/exit or click the X.

Try closing TImeslips and rename the prefs.prf file on the workstation to something like prefsold.prf. When you go back in you will have to reset your preferences but this might hlep.

Unusual to get the error at that point. I would try the following: - Close Timeslips and clear all temp files on the computer. Close all other programs. Ideally, reboot and then open Timeslips before...

I'm still stuck on why would you not want to charge the five months interest if they have not paid? I would either charge interest, or not charge interest, but charging 'sporatic' interest is rarely a...

Nancy, I think that the attorney who asked me to do it feels like he owes the client a small favor (plus, we have not sent the client a bill for the last five months). I ended up just dividing the...

Well, if you are going to give the client a favor, I think you should SHOW them the favor. So bill them the whole amount of interest, but issue a Courtesy Credit for the 4 months of interest. Anyway,...
