You would want to use a Refund transaction, but you can only refund an unapplied payment. So open up the original incorrect Payment from Account and Unapply it from the invoice that was generated....

It will clear filters on screens but nothing that you can't fairly easily setup again. You might benefit from some training :) Also you are running a very old, unsupported version.
