I guess the question is, what is the original license? Is it the 2014 that had two users, the 2015 two-user, or the 2015 additional license (which came at the same time)?

The code is probably to add the license to v2014. You will have to either install 2014 and the add on and the n upgrade or contact support to see if they can give you a code for two licenses in v2015.

How did you load Timeslips on the computer? You need to do it from the loclinst folder on the server. Then all machines should be on same service release

Did you try what was suggested? You can also tey deleting the prefs.prf file on the workstation. This is not replaced by a reinstall. You might also clear all temp files on the workstation
