It's great you figured this out but, If the reason you went through all this was to get v2010 installed so you could install a 2013 upgrade, you made things more complicated than needed. Assuming than v2010 was already installed on an older computer you could have simply copied the folder for v2010 to the new computer and then installed v2013 on top of it. Alternatively through a call to support you might have been able to get a code to install Timeslips v2013 as a new license instead of an upgrade. One note with v2013 on Windows 8 - you may have an issue lining up slips. Generally there is an issue where Timeslips will add a blank space at the beginning of the slip. If you open the slip and edit it, you will get an additional space each time. Timeslips v2014 does not have this issue on Windows 8.
