Nancy, I agree. I can't think of any reason why a direct copy would not work, yet it doesn't. The solution, or more properly the workaround, was to rename the containing folder from "C:\Program Files\Timeslip" to "C:\Program Files\Timeslips". This change only seems necessary on the Windows 7 laptop on which the app had been running in XP Mode. On my Windows 10 32-bit laptop this ancient application runs correctly in "C:\Program Files\Timeslip". Go figure. George
