I have never seen Timeslips cause an issue with MS Office? What operating system is on your workstation? You could uninstall Timeslips and see if that helps. While it may be Timeslips causing the problem, I tend to think it is a coincidence. Have you rebooted the computer? Did you try right click on the microsoft application and run as administrator? I think there is more going on here than "meets the eye" and you might need someone to take a look at the situation.
