I have also never seen Timeslips have that effect on Microsoft Office. Timeslips 2014 and Office 2013 have certainly been installed together many, many times over the last few years, so chances are pretty good that we would have heard about any conflicts by now. That's not to discount your experience, but I agree with Caren that might be a case of confusing temporal proximity with cause and effect. 1) Does Timeslips open up and perform normally? 2) What, if anything, happens when you try to run an Office application? any errors, messages?
