When setting up rules for electronic bill formats (such as LEDES), Sage Timeslips provides two options: "Client Nickname 1", or "Client Nickname 1 + Bill Date". We've heard from more than one of our clients that they need more options for auto-naming. Suggestions have been to include: "Client Nickname 2", "Invoice Number" and "firm Name". This desire comes from both customer preference in naming convention, but also a claim that an audit house may want to see these elements in the file name. We suggest that naming options be the same as those offered when creating bills in .PDF format (See options under the Setup --> PDF Setup command).
